Overview

The explosion of cultural data and recent advances in data science (artificial intelligence, automatic language processing, big data) offer entirely new opportunities in the humanities and social sciences. PSL University is ideally positioned to seize these new opportunities. In partnership with Lycée Louis-le-Grand, the new CPES “ Data Science, Arts and Cultures ” course aims to break down the barriers between knowledge to train data scientists who will be able to describe, understand and analyze cultural productions in all their diversity. Cultural phenomena will be addressed in all their forms and in all eras, from traditional Chinese legends to American comics, from Greek tragedies to Japanese video games.

The DNA of the CPES

  • Requirement  : selective training in a unique scientific and cultural environment, supported by the largest French establishments.
