The Instrumentation & Control Engineering Technology – Industrial Automation Accelerated (ICTX) program at Lambton College is designed for students with a previous degree or advanced diploma, to develop an in-depth understanding of Instrumentation, Electronics, and Automation. This program provides students with a comprehensive, hands-on learning experience that combines both lecture and laboratory components, allowing them to build on their existing foundation in these fields and gain valuable knowledge and skills.
The coursework for the ICTX program covers a broad range of topics, including basic principles of mathematics, electrical and electronic circuits, microprocessor-based systems, computer programming, and instrumentation. Students will also gain knowledge in a variety of Automation topics, including industrial communication networks, robotics, and automated systems.
The program also provides students with the opportunity to participate in a variety of projects that will help to further their understanding of the topics covered in the coursework. Through these projects, students will be able to apply their knowledge and skills in real-world scenarios and gain a better understanding of the principles of Instrumentation & Control Engineering Technology – Industrial Automation Accelerated.
