Overview

OVERVIEW:

The Master of  Business Administration is a one-year master’s programme taught in English with an international focus. The course is designed to prepare the student with academic knowledge as well as hands-on expertise, enabling lifelong success within the growing field of international management.

KU Leuven’s Master of Science in Business Administration programme is designed to challenge students to think, perform and grow towards a successful launch of their careers and to prepare them to move on to leadership positions – from supervisory to more senior roles – in entrepreneurial start-ups, multinational companies or non-profit organisations.

The programme allows students to tailor their programme according to their individual needs and career ambitions. It builds on solid academic knowledge as well as on hands-on experience. The core courses focus on the development of leadership skills and the ethical, sustainability and corporate responsibility aspects of the business world. The track modules offer students the ability to focus on one specific management domain or develop their knowledge and skills in one general management track. The elective courses allow students to further deepen their knowledge within their track or to expand their knowledge base by choosing courses in other fields. The master’s thesis and business research methods develop the student’s research and analytical skills. The programme offers an optional internship and allows students to participate in business projects.
