The course provides an entry route into engineering management across all engineering disciplines.  It is suitable for managers without an engineering background as well as qualified engineers looking to break into management roles. With a strong focus on how to manage modern engineering projects in a global context, you’ll cover areas of pan-sector relevance such as agile methodology, supply chain management, Big Data, working in cross-disciplinary teams, stakeholder engagement, and much more.

This course is accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). That means you’ll be awarded a Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership and Foundation Chartered Manager status upon graduation, giving you a fast-track route to Chartered Manager status.

Requirements

At Arden University we consider applications on a case by case basis. If you have significant work experience, have qualifications you have gained elsewhere, or a degree or qualification that isn’t a clear pathway to this degree – we are more than happy to discuss your application.

To be eligible for this MSc in Engineering Management, we need to see that you have:

  • A UK Honours Degree at a minimum of second class (2.2) or equivalent.

English Proficiency

  • IELTS 6.5 (no less than 6 in any element); or TOEFL iBT 80; or equivalent
  • Alternatively, a letter to show that the Medium of Instruction was in English is accepted

We are happy to consider an application from you if you can show us you have the motivation to study this engineering management course.

We’ll ask you for a personal statement that demonstrates your ability to study the course. We may also want references and evidence of relevant experience.
